
Accessable. Once you have made it on to the island then all of your travelling problems are more or less resolved. The island is small enough to put everything within easy reach.
Since cars are not allowed on to the island, the only real remaining option - which also happens to be infinately better than a car in any case - is that typically Dutch means of locomotion: the bicycle.
It is not worth the effort of trying to bring your own bicycle to the island. There are several businesses offering to hire out bikes for a day at relatively reasonable prices. The entire island is accessable by bike. Indeed, many areas are only accessable by bicycle paths, making cycling ideal.
Renting a bike is easy enough, there are several establishments in the very contained inner village. If you need help in finding one, visit the VVV office (the tourist center).
